The many add-ons for Sketch make it one of the best options for UI designers on Mac. It’s much simpler to learn than Photoshop and over 60% cheaper. Those who have made the switch to Sketch love it and can’t seem to get enough of it.

Fluid is a brand new plugin for Sketch designers that helps to structure responsive layouts. You can set options like pinning certain elements to areas of the artboard, or defining a fixed width based on a percentage of the document size.

The idea is to build more constrained responsive layouts that still respond to resized windows.

Almost all the plugins released for Sketch have been completely free, and Fluid is no different. You can pull a copy of the latest version right from GitHub to install into Sketch.

This is the perfect tool for any UI designer whether you work on web or mobile layouts. Try it out and see if it can improve your responsive design workflow.
